I am a clinical psychologist with specialized training in both neuropsychology and pediatric psychology. My clinical experiences included neuropsychological assessment, outpatient psychotherapy, brief solution-focused psychological services in medical settings, and inpatient consultation with a patients of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and medical backgrounds.

I completed my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in 2019. My clinical experiences have focused on children, adolescents, young adults, and families from diverse backgrounds and with complex medical and psychiatric comorbidity.

I completed a two-year fellowship at University Hospitals with advanced training specializing in pediatric neuropsychology with patients ages 1-22 years. Patient’s I see include children and adolescents with a broad range of emotional, neurodevelopmental (i.e., ADHD, Learning Disorders, Autism), medical, and neurological difficulties.

I am passionate about conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the roots of why children, adolescents, or young adults may be having a hard time at home, school, and or in their social environments, and then helping them to find ways in which they can thrive.

Current Practice and Services

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Portland, Oregon working collaboratively with the founders of Behavioral Diagnostics & Treatment, Dr. Antonia Forster and Dr. Michael Fulop. My assessment and therapeutic work emphasizes evidenced-based methods that have been extensively researched. I view assessment and therapy as collaborative processes in which I partner and work together with my patients’ families to fully understand each child, adolescent, or young adult’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as provide comprehensive, effective and efficient treatment to help meet goals, overcome barriers, and live a fulfilling life. My clinical work is strongly influenced by behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches with trauma informed care and motivational interviewing integrated with my approach.

Assessments: I assess students (elementary, high school, college or graduate school) with issues that impact their school performance. I work with students from private and public schools, college, and occasionally post-graduate students. I conduct comprehensive assessments to better understand the student’s cognitive functioning in the context of their academic achievement while assessing for learning problems and difficulty with emotional and behavioral adjustment.  My evaluations are focused not only on weaknesses or problems, but aim at identifying core strengths that will help students reach their potential.

In addition to assessment of learning disorders and ADHD, I have advanced training working with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism spectrum disorder, language disorders, as well as complex medical conditions such as prematurity/low birth weight, epilepsy, genetic disorders, congenital heart disease, traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, childhood cancer, fetal alcohol and drug exposure, hearing loss/cochlear implantation, sickle cell disease, and hydrocephalus/ spina bifida.

Follow-up/treatment: Once an assessment is complete, I provide detailed recommendations to parents and students to activate, motivate, and initiate changes. I make recommendations to schools, and refer to other treatment providers, tutors/coaches, and programs as needed. I am open to providing follow-up sessions and/or treatment which involves tools to improve self-regulation, executive functioning skills, parenting strategies, and other traditional treatments for psychological issues. I collaborate with experienced providers in this practice to prepare documents to help students qualify for extended time on the SAT or GRE examinations.
