,, P,About Behavioral Diagnostics & Treatment

Often our services will begin with a neuropsychological or psychological assessment, which yields an accurate and detailed description of strengths and weaknesses, and of the obstacles your son or daughter faces, in the context of a full diagnostic formulation.

With the information we obtain from an assessment, we can recommend follow-up or treatment services, pointing you to tools and people to enhance strengths, to develop persistence, and to help overcome learning, emotional, or behavioral barriers to growth.

A comprehensive assessment is a powerful intervention in its own right, as communicating the results to teachers and other involved adults in effect creates a proactive team around the child.
